The Florida Water Environment Association (FWEA), in collaboration with the Air Quality & Odor Control community of the Water Environment Federation (WEF), has announced the 2027 FWEA Air Quality and Odor Control Global Conference, which will take place from March 8 to 10, 2027 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Orlando, Florida.

    The event will bring together professionals from around the world involved in odor management and air pollutant control, with the aim of sharing experiences, technical solutions, and innovative approaches for controlling odor and air emissions. The technical program will include oral presentations, interactive discussions, technology exhibits, and networking opportunities.

    Die Geruchskonferenz 2026 in Bloomington, Minnesota, brachte eine lebendige Gemeinschaft aus Fachleuten, Forschern und Industriepartnern zu einer Woche mit gezielten Fachvorträgen, praktischen Fallstudien und produktivem Networking zusammen.    Die Eröffnungsrede hielt Susan Schiffman, außerordentliche Professorin am Lampe Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering der University of North Carolina/North Carolina State University (UNC/NCSU). Susan hat mindestens 185 Artikel zu diesem Thema veröffentlicht. Ihre früheste Veröffentlichung zum Thema Geruch ist wahrscheinlich diese aus dem Jahr 1974 („Physicochemical Correlates of Olfactory Quality“ in Science), was bedeutet, dass sie seit über 52 Jahren auf diesem Gebiet tätig ist.
