This ASTM document deals with standard terminology relating to sensory evaluation of materials and products and it is the 33rd revision of the original text published in 2000. This text is developed by the subcommittee: E18.01.
The proposed revisions of this standard according to the ASTM website deal with new terms and revised terms based on persuasive negatives from previous ballots.
Der September 2019 war weltweit sehr produktiv in Bezug auf die Veröffentlichung von Normen zum Thema Geruch. Normalerweise würden wir sie einzeln in verschiedenen Beiträgen abhandeln. Jede dieser neuen Normen aus Deutschland, Italien und den USA hat eine lange Geschichte und Entwicklung hinter sich. Aber da wir eine schnelllebige Gesellschaft sind und keine Zeit haben, ausführliche Berichte zu lesen, geben wir Ihnen hier eine Zusammenfassung.
Einige Normen der Institutionen UNI (Italien), ASTM (USA) und VDI (Deutschland) zum Thema Geruchsmanagement wurden veröffentlicht oder sind kurz davor, und das alles im September. Ist das nicht wunderbar? Hier ist also unsere Aufstellung neuer Geruchsnormen weltweit!
The next meeting on odour annoyance mapping by using citizen science will take place next 18th of September This is the fourth meeting of the group of experts but it will be the first face-to-face session. The group will continue the work done focusing on the way to link odour and annoyance.
According to the International Environmental Society of Odour Managers (AMIGO, for its acronym in Spanish), the group has chosen a new coordinator José Manuel Felisi. The new convenor has worked for a few years in a project dealing with citizens science in a small town in Alicante exposed to odours from a couple of landfills and a waste water treatment plant.
