Cyntia Izquierdo, co-editor of this website and member of the International Environmental Association of Odour Managers (AMIGO), gave a 1-day course on Odour management to the Colombian Poultry Federation (FENAVI) the 4th of September 2018. This Colombian association was celebrating its biannual conference and, among the many activities planned, the only course scheduled was this one about odour management.
The members of this important association are facing new challenges after the approval of the recent Resolution 1541 that regulates the odour emission in many activities in Colombia. They also invited to the event to the editor of this website and president of AMIGO, Mr. Carlos Nietzsche Díaz, to talk about the approaches taken to regulate the odour impact of poultry production units in other countries during the Conference, held in Bucaramanga, Colombia, from the 5th to the 7th of September 2018.

These successful Olfasense Workshops on Product and Material Testing and the Technical Training days have being going on for a few years as a way to introduce new advances and technologies available for a better estimation of the odour emission.
October is coming, and once again the Odour Study Day is here. This is the 12th edition of this event and as usual it will be delivered at their odour laboratory in Bedfordshire, in partnership with RSK-ADAS. The Odour Study Day is scheduled for the 24th of October. This event will be a very interesting spot for those in need for a deeper insight on odour theory. It provides clear, up-to-date guidance on the principles, concepts and methods of odour management.
