Join InterCinD’s 2026 Proficiency Testing Schemes

InterCinD, the division of Lab Service specializing in interlaboratory testing, is now preparing its annual Olfactometry Proficiency Test, conducted in accordance with the updated EN 13725:2022 standard.

All European olfactometric laboratories are invited to participate and demonstrate compliance with the required performance criteria.

Registration for this initiative, organized by InterCinD, an independent business unit of the Italian company Lab Service Analytica Srl, is open and will remain available until July 17, 2026

Continuing its approach from previous editions, InterCinD provides participants with an optional evaluation of Tetrahydrothiophene (THT) samples, in addition to the conventional n-butanol samples. This additional testing option allows laboratories to compare their THT results with those of other participants.

Participating laboratories can choose to receive:

  • 10 gas cylinders of n-butanol (two sets of five cylinders at different concentrations), and/or
  • 3 gas cylinders of THT.

All registrations must be submitted by July 17, 2026, and sample shipments are planned for the fourth week of October 2026.

The registration form is available for download here, and additional information about this proficiency test can be found on the InterCinD website.
