
Olores.org had the pleasure of organizing the 11th meeting of the Working Group (WG) 2 of the Technical Committee 264 of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). This group has the task of reviewing and updating the aged European Standard EN 13725 that deals with the determination of odour concentration by dynamic olfactometry and odour emission rate from stationary sources.
This meeting took place in the city of Bilbao, Spain a day after the meeting of the WG41. This time the working documents focused on two of the juiciest part of the standard: Sampling and uncertainty. In the previous meeting in Delft. some aspects were commented but there is still further work ahead on these issues.

Currently, it is usual in the operating licenses, that governmental institutions grant to the sites where the sewage and waste are treated, the measures are put in place to control the emissions into the atmosphere.
