We are thrilled to announce the launch of an innovative Cost Action initiative that addresses odour pollution through a multidisciplinary and participatory approach.

   Odour pollution is the second most common reason for citizen complaints across Europe, accounting for a significant 30% of grievances, right after noise pollution. Frequent exposure to odours has been associated with headaches, stress, respiratory problems, and other health issues. It also serves as an indicator of larger environmental challenges, including poor waste management and polluted water sources.

 The year 2022 is just coming to an end. We are about to close a wonderful year. The lockdowns look like they are over in most countries, and slowly, we are returning to our past, but with new ways of life and many lessons learned. This year has also come with fantastic news for the odour managers, and we will write about that in another post.
