   W tym roku na konferencję zostala zaproszona grupa ‘odorowych’ ekspertów z krajow Europejskich takich jak: Hiszpania, Wlochy, Holandia, Niemcy, Francja, Austria oraz z Kanady, USA, Nowej Zelandii, Brazylii którzy między innymi podziela sie swoja cenna wiedza w zakresie legislacji, metod pomiarów i kontroli odorów.

   Głównymi tematami konferencji są: aspekty prawne dotyczace odorów, światowe standardy odorowe, uciążliwość zapachowa w Polsce i na świecie, metody oceny uciążliwości zapachowej, zastosowanie elektronicznych nosów w pomiarach związków zapachowych, metody redukcji i kontroli odorów, oddziaływanie i wpływ obiektów przemysłowych, rolnych oraz gospodarki komunalnej na środowisko i zapachową jakość powietrza.

iwa abstract extended   The call for abstracts for the 7th IWA Odours and Air Emissions Conference, 25th-27th September 2017, has been extended to the 12th of March 2017 in response to numerous requests and due to the increased interest in the event. This conference in Warsaw will be the 7th event organized by the IWA for odours and air pollution professionals.

   Due to the tragic events that occurred in Paris some days before the last IWA conference was cancelled. This event will make a gap of almost 4 years for the odour professionals to meet and talk in one of their favourites conferences.To increase the number of presentations in this event, the organization has decided to extend a couple of weeks the call for abstracts.

biotechniques2017   The 7th International Conference on Biotechniques for Air Pollution Control and Bioenergy (Biotechniques-2017) will take place in July 19-21, 2017, in the Conference Center of La Coruña, Spain (Palexco). This biannual international conference is an international showcase for anything related to the application of environmental biotechnology for air pollution control, treatment processes in bioreactors and clean (bio) fuels production.

The event is organized by the BIOENGIN group. This team focuses its main activities on bioprocess engineering, environmental engineering applied to wastewater, waste and waste gas treatment, industrial biotechnology, as well as fermentation and bioconversion processes to obtain biofuels and bioproducts (e.g., biopolymers).
