A group of experts will be attending this 1st of December 2016 in Leeds an event about Emissions and Odours Control organized by Aquaenviro. It is now a couple of years since the last event about Best Practice in Odour Control Management that took place the 6th February 2014 in Nottingham.
Nuisance emissions can have a substantial impact upon the quality of peoples’ life especially when it is associated with waste handling and treatment plants, wastewater and sludge treatment plants and the application of materials to land. In the UK, nuisance odours from industrial, trade and business premises are regulated by local councils under the Environment Act 1990 and controlled under H4 guidance.
The second International Odour Conference (MKO 2017) is being organized by the company Environmental Odour Consulting in cooperation with two Polish universities: Gdansk University of Technology and Wroclaw University of Technology. This is an initiative taken by some known experts in this field to talk about the odour management and measurement techniques nowadays. This event will take place in Krakow, Poland between the 20th and 21st of April, 2017.
This time, the NOSE conference has been one of the best organized conference in the NOSE series that started in the year 2008 in Rome. We have had the pleasure of attending each and everyone of these European Conferences on odour management and we must say that the AIDIC will have a terrible task if they pretend to do it better next time.
